Cluster Description
RTLB Cluster 24 covers the Taranaki region, servicing ninety-one schools.
The Lead School is New Plymouth Boys High School. The Cluster Manager is based there with three other RTLB. The other twenty-three RTLB are based in fifteen offices on school sites throughout Taranaki.
Eighteen of the staff are fully trained, with six currently involved in completing their Post-Graduate Diploma and two to begin next year .
Historically, there were five sub-clusters, each with their own policies and procedures. The 2012 RTLB transformation created one Taranaki Cluster. The needs of all Taranaki students are taken into account when referrals and contestable funds are allocated.
